PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio — Whether it’s children looking for a fun outdoor activity or adults who find comfort in coloring books seeking a bigger canvas, Parma Heights is currently promoting its inaugural Chalk Your Walk effort.
“So many people have been walking around the neighborhoods, we thought it would be fun to have some inspirational messages or designs written on the sidewalks,” said Erin Lally, Mayor Mike Byrne’s assistant.
“The idea was just to try something creative during the pandemic and lift people’s spirits,” she said. “Parma Heights is filled with people who really care about each other. Participating in the Chalk Walk is just one more way that they’re showing it.”
